Rees Elementary Celebrates 120 Years of Excellence with Fox 13 Rees Elementary School is buzzing with excitement today as they celebrate their 120th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, the school is hosting a fun-filled day of activities, including a visit from the Fox13 Cool Schools morning show. The Fox13 Cool Schools crew broadcasted live from Rees Elementary, highlighting the school's rich history, talented students, and dedicated staff. Students had the opportunity to showcase their academic achievements, perform musical numbers, and share their service project. Rees Elementary will be filled with laughter, joy, and a sense of community throughout the day. The school's 120th anniversary is a celebration of its enduring legacy and commitment to providing a quality education to the children of Spanish Fork.

Springville High School senior, Abi Stewart , is gaining valuable experience through her internship with the Utah Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. The lab, a collaboration between Utah State University, and the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, plays a critical role in safeguarding animal health, protecting the agriculture economy, and shielding public health by diagnosing diseases that spread from animals to humans. Abi has the unique opportunity to learn from experts in pathology bacteriology, virology and molecular assays. Susan Langford, a math teacher at Springville High School, was recently selected by KSL as their Teacher Feature. “Susan has built a strong Math 2 program, written cutting edge math coursework, and developed exceptional concurrent enrollment courses in college level mathematics while at Springville High School. She will always do her very best to tutor and teach young people until they succeed. She is highly trained and well-skilled in building her students. She cares about her students and wants them to work hard and learn mathematics.
